SEMI WORKSHOP : PARTNERSHIP NETWORKING MODEL DEVELOPMENT

BOGOR – Located at Rafflesia Conference Room, Department of Forest Resources Conservation and Ecotourism (DFRCE) Faculty of Forestry, Bogor Agricultural University took place semiworkshop “Partnership Networking Model Development in Forest Educational Appliances and Environment”.  This workshop was a part of IPB Top Research with the title “Environment Education Appliances for the Schools in the Surrounding Forest Area”.  This research was chaired Prof. Dr. Harini Muntasib (Division of Outdoor Recreation and Ecotourism).

The participants of this semiworkshop consist of staff of Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation, Agency of Agricultural and Forestry Bogor Regency, Agency of Forestry and Plantation Sukabumi Regency, Agency of Environment of Bogor Regency and Sukabumi Regency, Halimun Salak National Park, OISCA< JEJAK< Government Junior High School 1 Pamijahan, Government Elementary School 05 Gunung Picung, Government Elementary School 03 Gunung Bunder, Government Junior School 1 Ciomas, Government Elementary School 01 Lembur Sawah, Government Elementary School 01 Sukamantri, Government Elementary School 01 Gunung Sari, Research and Forestry Development Agency, Rare Pride, Biodiversity Conservation Indonesia, Indonesian Young Foresters and graduate students.

Tha main materials presented in this semiworkshop were: 1) Partnership networking among schools in forest surrounding together with parties in environmental education appliances (Prof. Dr. EKS Harini Muntasib); 2) Implementation partneship networking model of Environmental education in the schools of forest surrounding (Dr. Burhanuddin Masy’ud); 2) Conservation education on “natural loving and environment” (PJLWA) and 4) Partnership networking of  Halimun Salak National Park in conservation education and environment (Dr. Bambang Supriyanto).

The outlined results obtained from this semiworkshop were that environment education appliances in the schools strong networking among parties needed.  Where each party has respective roles.  Beside that strong leadership is needed. In school the teachers are the key to transfer sciences to the students.
